Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze key credit risk factors for clients, transactions, and industry sub-sectors within an assigned portfolio
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on counterparties, including financial statement reviews and scenario analysis
  • Develop and recommend credit risk ratings and limits to support business decisions in the CIB
  • Monitor portfolio performance, escalating emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including origination, trading, and compliance, to ensure risk-aligned transactions
  • Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for senior management and risk committees
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting credit risk
  • Support stress testing and portfolio-level risk modeling to enhance overall risk framework
  • Contribute to the development of risk policies and procedures specific to CIB activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within investment banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles, including financial statement analysis and credit rating methodologies
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques for corporate and transactional credit assessments
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risks in complex, multi-faceted portfolios
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III and Dodd-Frank relevant to credit risk management

Preferred Qualifications
