Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative client solutions that address complex needs in areas like payments, trading platforms, and risk analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and compliance experts to tailor JP Morgan's technology offerings
• Conduct client workshops and assessments to identify pain points and propose optimized architectures for scalability and security
• Oversee the integration of JP Morgan's core banking systems with client infrastructures, ensuring seamless data flow and regulatory adherence
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies such as AI and cloud-native services to enhance client value in financial services
• Manage a team of solutions architects, providing mentorship and ensuring delivery of high-quality, client-centric projects
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the UK and Europe, acting as a trusted advisor on technical strategy
• Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and report on solution performance metrics to senior leadership
• Contribute to JP Morgan's thought leadership by participating in industry forums and internal innovation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or client-facing technical roles within the financial services industry
• Proven track record of leading teams in delivering complex technology solutions for enterprise clients
• Strong understanding of financial products, regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, FCA regulations), and risk management in banking
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on secure financial data handling
• Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements in the UK and potentially internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant discipline
• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Knowledge of blockchain, AI/ML applications in finance, or digital asset solutions
• Previous role in client advisory or solutions architecture within investment banking or asset management
