Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative payment solutions tailored to complex client needs in corporate and investment banking
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to optimize existing platforms and integrate new technologies for seamless client experiences
• Conduct architectural assessments and recommend enhancements to ensure scalability, security, and compliance in global payment ecosystems
• Engage directly with C-suite clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical roadmaps
• Mentor junior architects and manage a team of 5-10 solution specialists, fostering a culture of innovation at JP Morgan Chase
• Drive cross-regional initiatives to standardize payment solutions while accommodating diverse regulatory landscapes
• Monitor industry trends in payments and fintech to proactively advise on strategic opportunities for JP Morgan's client solutions
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with firm-wide risk and governance policies
• Facilitate workshops and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate value of proposed solutions to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, solution design, or payments technology within the financial services industry
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver client-facing solutions in a high-stakes banking environment
• Deep knowledge of payment systems, including SWIFT, ISO 20022, real-time payments, and regulatory compliance standards like PCI-DSS
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and risk management in global payments processing
• Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry conferences

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's in Finance with a focus on fintech innovations
• Experience working at a Tier 1 investment bank like JP Morgan Chase or similar
