Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand complex payment needs and design tailored solutions that optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Architect end-to-end payment systems, integrating APIs, middleware, and legacy systems to support seamless transactions
• Lead innovation initiatives by evaluating and implementing new technologies like real-time payments and AI-driven fraud detection
• Work with engineering teams to develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept for client-specific payment products
• Ensure solutions comply with JP Morgan Chase's security standards and global regulatory frameworks
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers on best practices in financial services
• Analyze client feedback and market trends to continuously refine and enhance payment architectures
• Facilitate workshops and presentations to demonstrate solution value to senior stakeholders
• Monitor system performance post-implementation and recommend optimizations for scalability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture, solution design, or IT consulting within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in designing and implementing payment solutions, including real-time payments, cross-border transactions, and digital wallets
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in payments, such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and AML/KYC requirements
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable financial solutions
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and client stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant field
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF for enterprise architecture
