Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate client tax documentation to ensure compliance with global tax regulations such as FATCA and CRS
  • Analyze client tax forms (e.g., W-8/W-9 series) for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and client services to mitigate tax risks
  • Prepare and submit tax reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
  • Support client onboarding by providing tax advisory and documentation guidance
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and update internal processes accordingly
  • Conduct audits of tax documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist in resolving client inquiries related to tax withholding and reporting
  • Contribute to process improvements in tax documentation workflows using innovative tools
  • Ensure data integrity in JP Morgan's tax management systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax documentation, compliance, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations including FATCA, CRS, and withholding tax requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax-related software tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CA, or equivalent certification in taxation
  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase systems or similar banking platforms
  • Prior work in client onboarding and KYC processes
