Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end tax support for premier clients, including preparation, review, and filing of tax documents
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and international tax standards
  • Collaborate with client advisors to tailor tax strategies that align with investment goals
  • Analyze client portfolios for tax optimization opportunities and risks
  • Manage tax reporting processes, including FATCA and CRS compliance for global clients
  • Liaise with internal teams and external tax authorities to resolve queries and audits
  • Maintain accurate records of client tax data in JP Morgan's secure systems
  • Support ad-hoc tax projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, or regulatory changes
  • Monitor updates in tax legislation and implement necessary adjustments to client services
  • Contribute to process improvements in the Client Tax Operations team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax operations, compliance, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax regulations and international tax principles
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential client information with integrity
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser)
