Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Cassandra and PostgreSQL databases in cloud environments to support scalable financial applications
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, high-performance technology products for JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring 99.99% uptime for mission-critical financial systems
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time transaction processing and analytics in the banking sector
• Implement security best practices, including encryption and access controls, to protect sensitive financial data
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the evolution of database architectures within JP Morgan's technology stack
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate databases with microservices and AI-driven financial tools
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production issues in a 24/7 financial services environment
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud and database technologies to drive innovation in JP Morgan's digital transformation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in database administration and software engineering
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra and PostgreSQL databases
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and secure software development practices
