Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions for Chase's mobile banking platform
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering innovation and best practices in cloud engineering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and compliance experts to ensure secure and scalable applications
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability in handling high-volume financial transactions
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development cycles while adhering to regulatory requirements
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive technical decisions to enhance user experience in digital banking
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and integrate them to revolutionize Chase's fintech offerings
• Ensure all cloud solutions comply with JP Morgan's security protocols and industry standards for financial data protection
• Contribute to strategic planning for cloud migration and modernization of legacy banking systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in cloud technologies
• Proven leadership experience in guiding engineering teams on large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and data security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions in fintech

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform in a financial services context
• Knowledge of mobile banking architectures and payment processing systems
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer
• Prior work at a major bank or fintech company on digital transformation initiatives

Required Skills

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like EC2, S3, Lambda
• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
• Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL) and data encryption for financial data
• Familiarity with API development, RESTful services, and integration with banking systems
• Skills in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Git) for automated deployments
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including IAM, encryption, and threat modeling
• Leadership and communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder management
• Analytical problem-solving for optimizing cloud costs and performance in high-stakes environments
• Agile and Scrum methodologies for iterative development in fast-paced fintech projects
• Knowledge of mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Swift) for banking apps
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack) for cloud infrastructure
