Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications on GCP and AWS to support JPMorgan Chase's financial services infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy on-premises systems to public cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption to banking operations
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and security for mission-critical financial applications
• Develop infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to automate provisioning of cloud resources
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to best practices for secure coding in a financial context
• Integrate cloud services with existing JPMorgan Chase systems, such as payment processing and risk management platforms
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovations to enhance operational efficiency
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including compliance with financial regulations like GDPR and SOX

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with cloud migration projects
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark or Kafka in cloud settings
• Prior work on high-availability systems handling sensitive financial data
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
