Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Kubernetes-based solutions on AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's corporate technology initiatives
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning of secure, compliant cloud environments
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for financial applications
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and optimization to maintain security and performance standards in line with industry regulations
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, resolving issues related to networking, storage, and scaling in production
• Integrate security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and vulnerability scanning, to protect sensitive financial data
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud architecture strategies, providing technical leadership on emerging technologies
• Document designs, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations for mission-critical banking systems
• Stay abreast of industry trends in cloud-native technologies and recommend innovations to enhance efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS, VPC, and IAM
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources
• Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance standards relevant to financial services (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
• Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a large-scale enterprise setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with regulatory compliance and risk management
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Terraform Associate
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
• Prior experience optimizing costs and performance in multi-tenant cloud environments
