Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end technology audits focused on payments platforms within Commercial and Investment Banking
  • Assess and evaluate technology risks, controls, and compliance in payments processing systems
  • Develop audit plans, testing strategies, and reports to identify control gaps and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with APAC technology teams, business stakeholders, and global audit partners to drive remediation efforts
  • Monitor emerging risks in payments technology, including cybersecurity threats and regulatory changes
  • Perform data analytics and leverage tools to enhance audit efficiency and insights
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the audit methodology for technology in payments
  • Support regulatory examinations and internal quality assurance processes
  • Mentor junior auditors and foster a culture of risk awareness in the dynamic APAC team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology auditing, risk management, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or CRISC
  • Strong understanding of payments systems, including real-time payments, SWIFT, and regulatory frameworks like ISO 20022
  • Experience in auditing technology controls for commercial and investment banking operations
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control testing in a global banking environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural team in the APAC region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or MBA in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal audit processes or similar large-scale financial institutions
  • Knowledge of APAC-specific regulations such as MAS guidelines for payments and fintech
  • Prior exposure to agile auditing methodologies in dynamic technology environments
  • Fluency in Mandarin or other APAC languages alongside English
