Key Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of syndicated finance transactions for middle-market clients in the Commercial Banking division
  • Conduct financial analysis, including modeling cash flows, debt capacity, and covenant testing for potential deals
  • Collaborate with relationship managers to develop tailored capital solutions and advisory strategies
  • Assist in preparing pitch books, credit memos, and presentation materials for client meetings and internal approvals
  • Monitor market trends in syndicated lending and provide insights to enhance deal structuring
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including risk management and legal, to ensure compliance and smooth transaction execution
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and external syndication partners
  • Contribute to the growth of JPMorgan Chase's Syndicated Finance Group by identifying new business opportunities
  • Participate in due diligence processes and post-closing portfolio management
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting syndicated finance and advise on implications for clients

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in syndicated finance, leveraged finance, or capital markets within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, credit analysis, and regulatory requirements in commercial banking
  • Proven track record in financial modeling and deal structuring for middle-market companies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on client relationships
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience at a bulge-bracket bank or leading financial institution in syndicated finance
