Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients in the climate technology sector, providing tailored financial solutions to support their growth
  • Originate and underwrite loans, credit facilities, and other financing products for cleantech companies, ensuring alignment with JPMorgan Chase's risk standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including credit analysts, sustainability experts, and product specialists, to deliver comprehensive banking services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in renewable energy, carbon capture, and other climate tech innovations across the U.S.
  • Monitor client portfolios for performance, compliance, and emerging risks, offering proactive advice on ESG integration
  • Represent JPMorgan Chase at industry conferences and events focused on climate technology to build brand presence and network
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals and presentations for senior management and client pitches
  • Ensure all activities comply with federal regulations, internal policies, and sustainable finance principles
  • Support the bank's broader sustainability goals by promoting green financing products and tracking impact metrics
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or financial services, with a focus on technology or sustainable sectors
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and originating new business in the commercial banking space
  • Strong understanding of climate technology financing, including renewable energy, clean tech, and sustainability-linked loans
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in commercial lending, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
