Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with emerging middle market clients (revenues $50M-$500M) to provide tailored financial solutions including lending, treasury services, and capital markets access
  • Originate new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and leveraging referrals within the Houston market
  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessments to structure and underwrite commercial loans and facilities
  • Collaborate with JPMorgan Chase product specialists to deliver integrated solutions such as cash management, foreign exchange, and trade finance
  • Monitor client portfolios to ensure compliance with credit agreements and identify cross-sell opportunities for additional JPMorgan services
  • Prepare and present credit proposals to senior management and credit committees
  • Represent JPMorgan Chase at industry events, chambers of commerce, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility
  • Manage a portfolio of relationships to achieve revenue and growth targets set by Commercial Banking leadership
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and fair lending practices
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on market trends, economic conditions, and financing strategies specific to the energy and commercial sectors

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial banking or financial services, with a focus on middle market clients
  • Proven track record in originating and managing commercial loans and credit facilities
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling
  • Active network in the Houston business community, particularly in emerging middle market sectors
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent certifications
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
