Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with startup and growth-stage companies to provide tailored financial solutions including loans, lines of credit, and treasury services
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit assessments to support lending decisions for Commercial Banking clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams at JP Morgan Chase, such as investment banking and capital markets, to deliver integrated solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the startup banking segment across the United States
  • Monitor client portfolios, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Advise clients on cash management, foreign exchange, and other banking products to optimize their financial operations
  • Lead deal structuring and negotiations for complex financing arrangements
  • Participate in industry events and networking to build JP Morgan Chase's presence in the startup community
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on portfolio performance and market trends

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial banking, with a focus on startup or growth-stage companies
  • Proven track record in originating and managing commercial lending relationships
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment in the financial services industry
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent certifications required
  • Experience working with high-growth startups in sectors like technology, fintech, or healthcare

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
