Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key commercial clients in Toronto and surrounding regions to drive revenue growth and retention
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging JPMorgan Chase's full suite of commercial banking products, including lending, cash management, and trade finance
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit assessments to structure tailored financing solutions that meet client needs while mitigating risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit risk, product specialists, and investment banking, to deliver integrated financial services
  • Foster a customer-centric culture by proactively addressing client challenges and innovating solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and deal closings to secure profitable transactions
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to build a high-performing relationship management team
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape to advise clients effectively
  • Contribute to the overall growth strategy of JPMorgan Chase's Commercial Banking division in Canada

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or corporate finance within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of managing and growing portfolios of mid-to-large corporate clients in Canada
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian banking regulations, credit analysis, and risk management practices
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending products, treasury services, and capital markets solutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build executive-level relationships
  • Ability to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification
  • Experience working with multinational corporations or in cross-border banking
  • Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's Commercial Banking platform and tools
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
  • Prior leadership experience in mentoring junior relationship managers
