Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior credit sales professionals in pitching and executing credit trading strategies to institutional clients in Asia
  • Analyze credit market trends, issuer profiles, and macroeconomic factors to provide timely market insights
  • Execute trades in credit products including corporate bonds, credit default swaps, and structured credit instruments
  • Build and maintain relationships with buy-side clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, and corporates
  • Collaborate with trading, research, and structuring teams to develop customized credit solutions
  • Monitor portfolio risks and ensure compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare client presentations, market reports, and sales materials using data from JP Morgan's proprietary systems
  • Contribute to the team's efforts in expanding market share in the Asia credit sales franchise
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects related to product innovation and market expansion in the region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in credit sales, trading, or financial markets within the investment banking sector
  • Strong understanding of credit products, fixed income markets, and derivatives
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis tools
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian languages is advantageous
  • Ability to obtain necessary regulatory approvals and licenses for trading activities in Singapore

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Asia-Pacific credit markets or with JP Morgan Chase
  • CFA Level 1 or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MAS guidelines in Singapore
  • Experience with Bloomberg or similar trading platforms
