Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage credit trading strategies across corporate bonds, CDS, and structured credit products to optimize portfolio performance
• Engage with institutional clients, including hedge funds and asset managers, to provide tailored market insights and trading solutions
• Analyze credit market trends, macroeconomic factors, and issuer-specific risks to inform trading decisions
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop and pitch credit trading ideas, enhancing client relationships in the Asia-Pacific region
• Monitor and mitigate trading risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Contribute to the development of trading models and tools to improve efficiency and market edge
• Support senior traders in hedging strategies and liquidity management during volatile market conditions
• Prepare market reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and client meetings
• Stay abreast of global credit events and integrate them into JP Morgan's trading playbook
• Mentor junior team members and participate in cross-functional initiatives within the Commercial & Investment Bank

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in credit trading, fixed income markets, or investment banking
• Strong understanding of credit products including corporate bonds, credit default swaps, and emerging market debt
• Proficiency in financial modeling, risk assessment, and market analysis tools
• Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or Series 7 equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced trading environment within a major financial institution
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous for Hong Kong market

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) from a top-tier institution
• Prior experience at a bulge-bracket bank like JP Morgan Chase in Asia-Pacific markets
• Proven track record in executing high-volume credit trades and managing client portfolios
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as HKMA guidelines and Basel III requirements
• Experience with algorithmic trading systems or quantitative credit strategies
