Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Commercial & Investment Bank Events team to conceptualize, plan, and execute client conferences, seminars, and networking events
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site execution for events in Hong Kong and regionally
  • Develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as investment bankers, relationship managers, and marketing teams to align events with business objectives
  • Manage event marketing and promotion, including digital invitations, social media, and attendee registration
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's risk management and regulatory policies for all events
  • Analyze post-event feedback and metrics to measure success and recommend improvements
  • Support internal events for team building and training within the Commercial & Investment Bank
  • Handle crisis management and troubleshooting during events to ensure seamless experiences
  • Contribute to the development of event strategies that enhance client relationships and drive business growth in the Asia-Pacific region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management within the financial services or corporate sector
  • Proven track record of executing high-profile client conferences and internal events
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required for events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the banking or investment industry, particularly with client-facing events
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services events
  • Certification in event management (e.g., CMP or CSEP)
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese, in addition to English
  • Previous experience working with senior executives in a global financial institution
