Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute client-facing events such as seminars, conferences, and networking dinners to enhance JP Morgan Chase's brand in commercial and investment banking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and compliance to align events with business objectives
• Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards
• Develop event strategies that drive client engagement and support revenue generation in the financial services sector
• Coordinate internal events like team offsites and training sessions to foster collaboration within the Commercial & Investment Bank
• Handle logistics including venue selection, AV setup, and attendee registration using digital tools
• Measure event success through KPIs such as attendance, feedback, and ROI, providing post-event reports to stakeholders
• Ensure all events comply with JP Morgan Chase's risk management and regulatory policies
• Innovate event formats to incorporate virtual and hybrid elements for global reach
• Build relationships with external partners and sponsors in the Singapore financial hub

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management within the financial services or corporate sector
• Proven track record of managing high-profile client events, including budgeting and vendor coordination
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly commercial and investment banking
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel regionally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in organizing events for investment banking clients in Asia-Pacific
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial events (e.g., data privacy and anti-bribery laws)
• Previous role at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Certification in event management (e.g., CMP or CSEP)
• Fluency in Mandarin or another regional language
