Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the China Resiliency Program for JP Morgan's Commercial & Investment Bank, ensuring alignment with global standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential disruptions in trading, lending, and investment operations
• Coordinate crisis management exercises, including tabletop simulations and full-scale drills, involving stakeholders across Shanghai and global teams
• Collaborate with technology, compliance, and operations teams to enhance cyber resiliency and disaster recovery capabilities
• Monitor regulatory changes in China and advise senior leadership on impacts to business continuity planning
• Develop and implement recovery strategies for critical functions, minimizing downtime during events like geopolitical tensions or natural disasters
• Report on resiliency metrics and program effectiveness to regional and global executives at JP Morgan Chase
• Foster a culture of resiliency awareness through training and communication initiatives for China-based staff
• Support incident response during live events, ensuring rapid escalation and resolution in line with JP Morgan's protocols
• Integrate emerging risks such as ESG factors and supply chain vulnerabilities into the resiliency framework

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business resiliency, crisis management, or operational risk within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in developing and implementing resiliency programs in a multinational banking environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for business continuity in China and globally, including those from the People's Bank of China and Basel frameworks
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams during high-pressure scenarios, such as market disruptions or cyber incidents
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Knowledge of JP Morgan's internal resiliency frameworks and tools
• Prior exposure to technology-driven resiliency solutions in fintech environments
• MBA or advanced certification in operational resilience
• International experience in Asia-Pacific markets, particularly in Shanghai or Hong Kong
