Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the origination of commercial real estate loans by gathering and verifying borrower documentation
  • Conduct initial financial analysis and due diligence on loan applications to assess risk and viability
  • Collaborate with underwriters and relationship managers to prepare loan proposals and credit memos
  • Monitor loan pipelines, ensuring timely progression from application to closing
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve documentation discrepancies and facilitate smooth loan processing
  • Support portfolio management by tracking post-origination loan performance and reporting on key metrics
  • Contribute to process improvements in loan origination workflows to enhance efficiency at JPMorgan Chase
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits for commercial properties in the Tempe area

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending, real estate finance, or banking operations
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate loan structures, underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously
