Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential homebuyers in underserved communities at the Bullsboro and Newnan Crossing branches to assess needs and provide tailored mortgage solutions
  • Originate and process home loan applications, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan Chase underwriting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct community outreach events, workshops, and seminars to educate residents on homeownership opportunities and financial literacy
  • Build and maintain relationships with local real estate agents, community organizations, and housing nonprofits to generate leads
  • Analyze borrower financial profiles to recommend appropriate loan products, including FHA, VA, and special purpose credit programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, community development, or financial services
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in the state of Georgia, or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Demonstrated commitment to serving underserved communities and promoting financial inclusion
  • Strong understanding of fair lending laws, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)
  • Proficiency in credit analysis and mortgage origination processes
  • Ability to work independently in a branch environment while collaborating with team members
