Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop relationships with potential homebuyers, real estate agents, and community partners in the Seattle area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial situations to recommend appropriate Chase mortgage products, including FHA, VA, and conventional loans
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals by originating high-quality loans that meet Chase's credit and compliance standards
  • Conduct community outreach events, workshops, and seminars to promote homeownership opportunities, particularly for first-time and low-to-moderate income buyers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to ensure timely loan approvals and closings
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HMDA reporting and fair lending laws
  • Utilize CRM tools and Chase's digital platforms to track leads, manage pipelines, and report on sales performance
  • Build and nurture referral networks with local nonprofits, housing authorities, and real estate professionals
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-closing to foster long-term relationships and repeat business

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Washington State or ability to obtain within 120 days
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including fair lending practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse client bases
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with community organizations or underserved populations in home lending
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken in the Seattle community
