Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive compensation strategies aligned with JPMorgan Chase's business objectives and financial services market dynamics
  • Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of executive, incentive, and equity compensation programs to attract and retain top talent
  • Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analysis using industry data to ensure compensation competitiveness in banking and asset management sectors
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies
  • Oversee the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonuses, and long-term incentives for a diverse employee base
  • Analyze compensation trends and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on pay equity and total rewards optimization
  • Manage relationships with external compensation consultants and vendors to support data-driven decision-making
  • Drive initiatives for compensation process improvements, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in a high-volume environment
  • Support talent acquisition and retention efforts by advising on competitive offer structures in the competitive financial talent market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation strategy, design, and administration within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of leading compensation projects in a large-scale organization, ideally in banking or investment services
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. compensation regulations, including FLSA, SEC pay ratio disclosure, and Dodd-Frank requirements
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking tools and market data analysis from sources like Mercer, Radford, or WTW
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling and statistical analysis for compensation metrics
  • Ability to collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or equivalent
