Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of resiliency risk management strategies for JP Morgan Chase's APAC business and technology operations
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Collaborate with regional business leaders, technology teams, and compliance functions to ensure adherence to global and local regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular resiliency testing, scenario analysis, and stress testing to enhance operational controls
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness across APAC entities
  • Drive initiatives to improve third-party risk management and vendor resiliency in the region
  • Provide advisory support to senior management on emerging resiliency risks, such as cyber threats and geopolitical events
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness through training and communication programs
  • Ensure alignment of APAC resiliency programs with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise-wide CCOR framework

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or operational resiliency within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in managing resiliency risks for business and technology functions in a multinational banking environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, APRA standards, and MAS guidelines relevant to APAC
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing control frameworks for operational disruptions
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple APAC countries
  • Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or FRM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Risk Management)
  • Prior experience at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT resiliency standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 22301)
