Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM technologies to support Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk initiatives at JP Morgan Chase
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses for identity and access controls across CCOR lines of business, ensuring alignment with firm-wide policies
  • Collaborate with technology, cyber, and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks related to user access and data protection
  • Develop and enforce access management policies, including role-based access control (RBAC) and privileged access management (PAM)
  • Monitor and report on IAM metrics, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending remediation strategies
  • Support regulatory audits and examinations by providing documentation and evidence of compliance controls
  • Drive continuous improvement in IAM processes to enhance security posture and operational efficiency
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of risk awareness within the technology organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in operational risk management and compliance frameworks, particularly in banking and regulatory environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and Basel III related to access controls and data security
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms like SailPoint, Okta, or Active Directory in a large-scale enterprise setting
