Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of compliance risk management strategies for the Global Financial Crimes Compliance team within Consumer and Community Banking (CCB)
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial crimes risks, including AML, fraud, and sanctions violations
  • Collaborate with business lines, legal, and risk management teams to ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's CCOR policies and global regulatory standards
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend enhancements to compliance programs, monitoring systems, and controls
  • Manage regulatory reporting, examinations, and responses to inquiries from bodies like OCC, FDIC, and FinCEN
  • Drive training and awareness initiatives for CCB employees on financial crimes compliance topics
  • Analyze trends in financial crimes data to proactively identify emerging risks and advise senior leadership
  • Foster a culture of compliance excellence by integrating risk management into daily CCB operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or financial crimes prevention within the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading compliance programs related to anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and sanctions compliance
  • Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory frameworks including BSA, OFAC, and FinCEN requirements
