Key Responsibilities

  • Lead credit underwriting processes, including analysis of financial statements and risk evaluations for business clients
  • Drive business development initiatives to acquire new small business clients and expand existing portfolios
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit risk, treasury services, and wealth management, to deliver integrated solutions
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to advise clients on opportunities and compliance
  • Prepare and present business proposals, financial reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team goals in achieving revenue targets
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and ethical standards
  • Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to track client interactions and optimize service delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or financial services advisory
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and driving revenue growth in small business segments
  • Strong understanding of financial products including loans, lines of credit, treasury management, and merchant services
  • Experience with credit analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in the banking industry
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and business development
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses in diverse industries

  • Previous leadership experience in a team setting within a financial institution
