Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnership opportunities for JP Morgan Chase's Consumer & Community Bank, focusing on card products and co-brand initiatives
  • Lead negotiations and structure deals with potential partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management standards
  • Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and market research to support partnership decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, product, and risk management to execute partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key executives at partner organizations to drive long-term value
  • Monitor partnership performance, track KPIs, and recommend optimizations or expansions
  • Contribute to the overall corporate development strategy for the Consumer & Community Bank division
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports on partnership pipelines and outcomes
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in consumer banking and fintech to identify innovative partnership opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships, or business development within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing high-value partnerships, particularly in consumer banking or card products
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments in consumer finance, including compliance with FDIC, OCC, and CFPB guidelines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment at a major financial institution
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
  • Prior experience in credit card partnerships or co-brand programs at a leading bank
  • Knowledge of emerging fintech trends and digital payment ecosystems
  • Series 7 or equivalent securities license
