Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining control frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in Global Investment Banking
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential control gaps within investment banking processes
  • Prepare and deliver governance reports, including key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness metrics for senior management
  • Support the implementation of control testing programs and remediation actions for identified issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Buenos Aires and global hubs to enhance risk reporting accuracy
  • Monitor emerging regulatory changes and advise on their impact to investment banking operations
  • Facilitate control management training sessions for team members and stakeholders
  • Analyze data from various sources to support decision-making in risk mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to the documentation and updating of control policies specific to Latin American markets
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation to internal and external auditors

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in control management, risk assessment, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and governance frameworks applicable to investment banking
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with experience in financial risk management
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment
  • Relevant certifications such as FRM, CIA, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
  • Experience in Global Investment Banking or similar high-stakes financial operations
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's internal control systems and methodologies
