  • Lead the Business Control team in Bengaluru to develop and implement robust risk management strategies aligned with JP Morgan Chase's global standards
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including RBI mandates and international banking regulations, to mitigate operational risks
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and control testing to identify vulnerabilities in business processes and financial operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Technology, to ensure integrated risk management across the organization
  • Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in control frameworks, leveraging data analytics to enhance risk detection
  • Mentor and develop team members as part of the 2026 ReEntry Program, fostering a culture of compliance and innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in control management, risk assessment, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading teams focused on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation in a banking environment
  • Strong understanding of global financial regulations such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and local Indian regulatory frameworks like RBI guidelines
  • Experience with audit processes and internal control frameworks in a large-scale financial institution
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify potential risks in business operations
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is advantageous
