Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary product owner for reporting initiatives within the Controls Room Data & Analytics Team, defining product vision and roadmap aligned with regulatory and business needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including compliance, risk management, and technology teams to gather requirements and prioritize features for reporting products
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of data analytics tools and dashboards to support controls room monitoring and reporting at JPMorgan Chase
  • Ensure reporting products comply with internal policies and external regulations, conducting impact assessments for changes
  • Manage agile sprints, backlog grooming, and user story creation to deliver high-quality reporting solutions on time
  • Analyze data quality issues and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of controls reporting
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align on product deliverables and resolve impediments
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs and user feedback, iterating to meet evolving financial services demands
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the Controls Room's data ecosystem, integrating AI/ML where applicable for advanced analytics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, data analytics, or control management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in owning reporting products or data-driven initiatives in a regulated environment like banking
  • Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, such as those from SEC, FINRA, or internal JPMorgan Chase compliance standards
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product ownership in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate business needs into technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Data Analytics) or relevant certifications like PMP or CBAP
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution, ideally with exposure to controls room operations or risk management
