Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Control Management (BCM) team for APAC Sales Markets, overseeing daily operations and strategic initiatives
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses for sales and markets activities
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in APAC to identify and mitigate operational risks
• Manage business continuity planning, including crisis response and recovery procedures
• Monitor and report on key risk indicators, providing insights to executive leadership at JP Morgan Chase
• Facilitate training programs on control processes and regulatory compliance for team members
• Support internal audits and external regulatory examinations, ensuring timely resolution of findings
• Drive continuous improvement in control frameworks to enhance efficiency in fast-paced markets environments
• Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the APAC sales and markets teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business control management, risk assessment, or compliance within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as those from MAS, HKMA, and other APAC regulators
• Proven track record in leading teams focused on business continuity and risk mitigation in sales and markets operations
• Certification in risk management (e.g., CRMP or FRM) or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in the APAC region, particularly in markets trading and sales environments
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and risk management software used in banking

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) with a focus on risk and compliance
• Prior experience at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase in APAC operations
• Knowledge of JP Morgan's internal control frameworks and BCM methodologies
• Fluency in English and Mandarin or another APAC language
• Experience with audit processes and interaction with regulatory bodies in India or Hong Kong
