Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of high-quality core data solutions to support Commercial & Investment Banking operations at JP Morgan Chase
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data needs, analyze requirements, and define solution architectures
• Develop and maintain data models, ensuring alignment with enterprise data standards and governance policies
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement remediation strategies to enhance decision-making reliability
• Partner with technology teams to integrate data solutions into JP Morgan's broader ecosystem, including cloud-based platforms
• Drive agile delivery of data projects, managing timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Provide expertise on data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in financial data handling
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices
• Analyze emerging data trends and recommend innovations to optimize business value in CIB
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on data initiatives and their impact on firm-wide goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or data management within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in designing and implementing core data solutions for banking or investment sectors
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, Basel III, Dodd-Frank)
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or equivalent
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP)
• Knowledge of Commercial & Investment Banking products and processes
• Experience with data migration projects in legacy system transformations

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data querying and analysis
• Expertise in data modeling tools like ER/Studio or PowerDesigner
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Informatica or Talend
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex financial datasets
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and requirement elicitation
• Familiarity with financial regulations and risk management frameworks
• Agile and Scrum methodologies for project delivery

• Business acumen in Commercial & Investment Banking domains
