Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and design of data products to support corporate and investment banking initiatives at JP Morgan Chase
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with the firm's data agenda
  • Conduct gap analyses on existing data infrastructure and recommend enhancements for efficiency and compliance
  • Facilitate data governance processes, ensuring adherence to JP Morgan's standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Develop and document business requirements for data integration, quality, and analytics solutions
  • Partner with technology teams to implement data solutions that drive business insights in investment banking
  • Monitor and report on key data metrics, identifying opportunities for innovation in core data systems
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the evolution of JP Morgan's data management practices
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to data usage in financial services operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business analysis, data management, or related roles within financial services
  • Proven track record in corporate and investment banking domains, with exposure to core data systems and regulatory requirements
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage in a banking environment
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in large-scale financial institutions
  • Familiarity with financial regulations such as GDPR, CCAR, and Basel III impacting data strategies
