Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements for corporate entities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards including SOX
  • Collaborate with global teams to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial reporting
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights for senior management decision-making
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes to meet deadlines
  • Conduct reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts
  • Support audits by internal and external parties, including preparation of documentation
  • Develop and implement accounting policies aligned with JP Morgan Chase guidelines
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of financial integrity and excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting or controlling within the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Proven experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Accounting)
  • Experience in a Big Four accounting firm or large financial institution
