Key Responsibilities

  • Execute trades in emerging markets currencies, including spot, forwards, and options, to support client needs and proprietary strategies
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and geopolitical events impacting emerging market currencies
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide pricing, hedging solutions, and market insights to institutional clients
  • Manage trading book risks, including position sizing, hedging, and stress testing in volatile environments
  • Develop and implement trading strategies leveraging quantitative models and real-time data
  • Contribute to daily P&L reporting and performance attribution for the currencies desk
  • Liaise with global teams across J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank to ensure seamless execution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial markets, trading, or related roles within investment banking

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
