Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on third-party legal entities and brokers supporting EMEA operations
  • Monitor and oversee third-party performance, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan Chase's risk and control standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, and Operations to mitigate legal entity risks
  • Develop and implement oversight programs for broker-dealers and external partners in Europe, Middle East, and Africa
  • Analyze regulatory changes impacting third-party relationships and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on third-party risk metrics for senior management review
  • Support audit and regulatory examinations related to third-party oversight
  • Identify process improvements to enhance operational resilience and risk management
  • Manage documentation and records for third-party agreements and oversight activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk management, compliance, or operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for legal entities and broker-dealers in EMEA, including MiFID II and EMIR
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and oversight frameworks for third-party vendors
  • Experience with legal entity structuring and broker operations in a global banking environment
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Polish or other EMEA languages preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or JD) or relevant certifications like CRISC or CISA
