Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments for asset-based lending portfolios, evaluating borrower financial health and collateral quality
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends to identify potential risks
  • Monitor ongoing portfolio performance, including covenant compliance and early warning indicators
  • Collaborate with origination teams to provide risk insights during the loan approval process
  • Develop and maintain risk models for asset valuation and scenario analysis
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Support stress testing and portfolio optimization initiatives in line with JPMorgan Chase's risk framework
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, Basel regulations, and local Argentine financial laws
  • Assist in due diligence processes for new lending opportunities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes within the Asset Based Lending Group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in asset-based lending or commercial banking
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, collateral valuation, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA Level 1 or FRM (preferred but not required)

  • Experience in the asset-based lending sector within a major financial institution
