Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Credit Risk Middle Office in monitoring and reporting on credit exposures across various portfolios
  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with front office, back office, and risk teams to ensure accurate data capture and validation
  • Perform credit risk analysis, including stress testing and scenario modeling for potential defaults
  • Identify and escalate control issues or data discrepancies in credit risk systems
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk reporting tools and dashboards
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all reporting activities
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to credit risk methodology updates or system implementations
  • Review and reconcile credit risk data from multiple sources to maintain data integrity
  • Provide analytical support for credit portfolio reviews and risk appetite discussions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 2-4 years of experience in credit risk management, financial services, or middle office operations
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles, including credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python
  • Knowledge of banking regulations like Basel III, IFRS 9, and CECL
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
  • Experience in a middle office role at a major financial institution
