Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily production and validation of credit risk reports for senior management and regulatory submissions
  • Monitor and analyze credit exposures across various asset classes, ensuring accuracy in risk metrics and limits
  • Collaborate with front office, back office, and control functions to resolve discrepancies in trade and risk data
  • Assist in the implementation of new credit risk models and methodologies in alignment with JP Morgan's risk framework
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses on portfolio performance, stress testing, and scenario modeling for credit risk
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all reporting activities
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance middle office efficiency
  • Provide support for audits, examinations, and risk committee preparations
  • Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and early warning signals for credit deterioration
  • Liaise with global teams in New York, London, and other hubs to standardize credit risk reporting practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management, middle office operations, or financial risk reporting within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies, including probability of default (PD), loss given default (LGD), and exposure at default (EAD)
  • Proficiency in regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, IFRS 9, and CECL relevant to credit risk reporting
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools in a high-volume financial environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance, Risk Management, or a quantitative discipline
