Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze credit exposures across JP Morgan Chase's global portfolio to ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive credit risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, including stress testing and scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with front office trading teams and back office operations to validate credit risk data and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the implementation of credit risk policies and procedures within the Corporate Risk framework
  • Conduct independent reviews of credit risk models and methodologies to identify potential improvements or risks
  • Assist in the development of risk reporting dashboards using tools like Tableau or Alteryx for enhanced visualization
  • Liaise with international teams in New York, London, and other hubs to align on global risk reporting standards
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to credit risk transformation initiatives at JP Morgan Chase
  • Ensure timely escalation of credit risk issues and recommend mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management, middle office operations, or financial risk reporting within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies, including Basel regulations and IFRS 9
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools relevant to risk assessment
  • Experience working in a global financial institution with exposure to cross-border risk reporting
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with strict adherence to compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
  • Certification such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
