Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor compliance with credit agreement terms for an assigned portfolio of corporate and institutional clients
  • Conduct regular reviews of borrower financial statements, covenants, and performance metrics to identify potential risks
  • Collaborate with relationship managers, legal teams, and risk officers to resolve compliance issues and recommend actions
  • Prepare detailed reports on portfolio health, covenant breaches, and remediation plans for senior management
  • Utilize JP Morgan's proprietary systems to track loan performance and generate compliance analytics
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices in lending services
  • Support portfolio stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate creditworthiness under varying economic conditions
  • Assist in the negotiation and documentation of credit amendments or waivers as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements in credit support operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, lending services, or compliance in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of credit agreements, loan documentation, and regulatory requirements in banking
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of accounts
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local Indian financial regulations is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience working with syndicated loans or large corporate credit portfolios at a major bank
  • Certification such as CFA, FRM, or CPA
  • Prior exposure to JP Morgan Chase systems or similar banking platforms
  • Familiarity with Basel III regulations and credit risk management frameworks
