Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and spread financial statements for Commercial and Investment Bank clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
  • Review and interpret complex financial documents, identifying key ratios, trends, and potential risks
  • Collaborate with credit analysts and relationship managers to provide insights on client financial health
  • Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan Chase's internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Perform quality checks on spread data to minimize errors and support informed lending decisions
  • Assist in preparing credit memos and reports for senior management and risk committees
  • Monitor client financial performance and flag any material changes or anomalies
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to credit portfolio management and process improvements
  • Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols in all analyses
  • Contribute to team training and knowledge sharing on financial spreading best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, credit support, or lending services within the banking or financial services industry
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products and client financial structures
  • Experience with financial spreading software or tools such as Moody's Analytics or similar platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
