Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing oversight of regional outsourcing arrangements to ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's policies and regulatory requirements
  • Perform risk assessments and due diligence on third-party vendors, identifying potential operational, financial, and reputational risks
  • Monitor vendor performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and regular audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, and IT to mitigate outsourcing risks
  • Develop and maintain documentation for outsourcing processes, including risk registers and incident reports
  • Support the implementation of the firm's Outsourcing Policy and contribute to policy enhancements
  • Analyze outsourcing trends and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and security standards in outsourced operations across the APAC region
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs on outsourcing risks for internal teams
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries and prepare reports for audits related to outsourcing activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outsourcing oversight, risk management, or operational controls within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, GDPR, and local Indian regulations (e.g., RBI guidelines on outsourcing)
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and compliance auditing
  • Experience with third-party vendor management and contract review in a banking environment
  • Ability to analyze complex data and prepare reports for senior stakeholders
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Risk Management) or relevant certifications like CRISC, CISA, or FRM
  • Prior experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
