Key Responsibilities

  • Trade FX forwards in CEEMEA markets to capitalize on pricing inefficiencies and manage client flows
  • Monitor and mitigate market, credit, and operational risks associated with emerging market currencies
  • Develop and implement innovative trading strategies to enhance liquidity and profitability
  • Optimize electronic trading flows by collaborating with quant teams and technology partners
  • Analyze macroeconomic indicators and geopolitical events impacting CEEMEA FX markets
  • Provide market insights and hedging solutions to institutional clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the firm's FX research and contribute to daily market commentary
  • Ensure compliance with JPMorgan Chase's risk policies and global regulatory standards
  • Mentor junior traders and support team initiatives in the Markets division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FX trading, specifically in forwards or emerging markets
  • Strong understanding of CEEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa) currencies and market dynamics
  • Proven track record in risk management within volatile FX environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the UK and EU financial markets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes trading environment at a global institution like JPMorgan Chase

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or a quantitative discipline
  • Experience with electronic trading platforms and algorithmic trading strategies

  • CFA or FRM certification
