Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor high-performing global teams in custody middle office operations, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance client servicing, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation within JP Morgan Chase's Asset & Wealth Management division
• Manage complex relationships with institutional clients, ensuring seamless custody solutions and resolving escalations proactively
• Oversee end-to-end trade processing, reconciliation, and reporting to support JP Morgan's global custody platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front office, technology, and compliance to implement regulatory changes and process improvements
• Develop and execute business plans aligned with JP Morgan's strategic goals, focusing on growth in emerging markets like India
• Monitor key performance metrics, identify operational risks, and implement controls to maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness
• Champion digital initiatives, leveraging technology to automate workflows and enhance client experience in custody services
• Provide executive-level reporting and insights to senior leadership on middle office performance and market trends
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's risk management policies and contribute to the firm's commitment to ethical practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• 15+ years of progressive experience in financial services, with at least 10 years in custody operations or middle office roles
• Proven track record in leading global teams and managing complex client relationships in asset servicing or custody
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks including SEC, MiFID II, and EMIR, with experience in compliance and risk management
• Strong understanding of custody products, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes in a global banking environment
• Experience in strategic planning and execution of initiatives within a large financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a focus on operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA, FRM, or equivalent certification in finance or risk management
• Prior leadership experience in JP Morgan Chase or a comparable global investment bank
• International exposure, including managing operations across multiple time zones and regions
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools for operational insights and reporting
• Experience with digital transformation projects in custody and asset servicing
