Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, addressing inquiries related to post-trade activities in global custody
  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of custody transactions, including settlements, corporate actions, and income collections
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as trading, compliance, and technology to ensure seamless client service delivery
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in client accounts, providing timely updates and resolutions
  • Prepare and deliver client reports on portfolio holdings, valuations, and performance metrics
  • Ensure adherence to J.P. Morgan's operational standards and regulatory requirements in the Japanese market
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and relationship-building activities to support business growth
  • Manage escalations and provide guidance on complex custody-related issues
  • Contribute to team initiatives aimed at maintaining high service levels in a 24/7 global operations environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in custody operations, post-trade processing, or client-facing roles within financial services
  • Strong understanding of global custody services, including settlement, safekeeping, and asset servicing
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in Japan and international financial markets
  • Experience with client relationship management in a banking or asset management environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA or equivalent in financial operations
