Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect potential threats to JP Morgan Chase's digital infrastructure
  • Lead incident response efforts, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery for cybersecurity incidents
  • Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively identify advanced persistent threats in the financial services network
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and mitigate risks in banking applications
  • Perform root cause analysis on security incidents and develop remediation strategies to prevent recurrence
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies aligned with JP Morgan Chase's global standards
  • Provide real-time reporting and dashboards on security operations metrics to senior stakeholders
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the financial sector and recommend defensive measures
  • Assist in regulatory compliance audits and ensure adherence to financial industry standards
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the cybersecurity operations team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with a focus on threat detection and incident response
  • Proven track record in handling security incidents in a financial services environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements like GDPR, PCI-DSS, and MAS guidelines for financial institutions
  • Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment
